The Storm slumped to their seventh consecutive loss, while the  Bulldogs crashed to their fifth defeat in six matches as the Dolphins and Cowboys triumphed in Friday night footy.

In a big night for Queensland teams, both the Dolphins and Cowboys had to come from behind before powering home to post impressive wins.

The Cowboys have now won five of their last six games while the Dolphins bounced back from a 21-20 golden point loss to the Panthers in Darwin and 22-20 defeat by the Warriors in Wellington to record their third win of the season.

The Dogs have now conceded 98 points in losses to the Eels, Broncos and Cowboys, dropping from seventh to 11th on the ladder in the process at Accor Stadium.

A wet Suncorp Stadium was the venue for the Dolphins match against the Storm who were desperate to snap a six-game losing streak that equaled the worst run of losses in club history.
