Round 3, Sunday March 22 - Cowboys v Titans at Queensland Country Bank Stadium (Fox) 6.15pm AEDT, 5.15pm local
If the Cowboys are to return to finals footy in 2026 they will need to post a far better home record than the five wins, six losses and a draw they managed at QCB Stadium in 2025. Among the victories was a nine-try romp against the Titans in Round 8 with Tom Dearden, Scott Drinkwater and Robert Derby playing leading roles. With a host of attacking weapons on both sides this promises to be a free-flowing between two enigmatic outfits capable of racking up big scores on their day.

Round 4, Sunday March 29 - Raiders v Sharks at GIO Stadium (Nine/Fox) 4.05pm AEDT
The Raiders won a thriller between these two sides in Round 5 of the 2025 season but it was the Sharks who had the last laugh when they sent Canberra packing in week two of the finals. That match was on the Raiders' home turf where they had lost just twice all season, including the preliminary final epic against the Broncos the previous week. Stability has been a hallmark of Cronulla's success in recent years and that will again be the case in 2026 while the Raiders must find a new playmaking combination with Jamal Fogarty moving on to Manly. Former Eel Ethan Sanders played two NRL games at halfback in 2025 and looks set to join Ethan Strange in the halves.

Round 7, Sunday April 19 - Eels v Bulldogs at CommBank Stadium (Nine/Fox) 4.05pm AEDT
Think Mortimer, Lamb, Folkes, Hazem and Mason. Think Sterling, Kenny, Burt, Hindmarsh and Cayless. Great names. Great servants of these two proud clubs who are both desperate to break premiership in droughts - one lasting 21 years and the other 39 years. Enough is enough for fans of the blue and gold and blue and white armies. The Bulldogs have put the pieces in place and look primed for success. The Eels are gaining momentum under Jason Ryles and have rising playmaker Jonah Pezet on board for a one-year cameo alongside Mitch Moses. Come Round 7 we should have a fair idea as to how both clubs are tracking and CommBank Stadium will be rocking when they collide on April 19.
Bulldogs v Eels – Round 14, 2025
Round 11, Sunday May 17 - Warriors v Broncos at Suncorp Stadium (Nine/Fox) 4.05pm AEST
If you want to be the best you have to beat the best. Still in search of a maiden premiership after entering the competition in 1995, the Warriors measure themselves against defending premiers the Broncos in Round 11. With a massive following everywhere they play, the Warriors certainly won't be overawed by running out at Suncorp Stadium. In fact, they should relish the big-game atmosphere and a chance to match motors with a team full of match-winners and already boasting seven premierships in their proud history.

Round 14, Sunday June 21 - Sharks v Dragons at Sharks Stadium (Nine/Fox), 4.05pm AEST
The local derby between the Sharks and Dragons rarely disappoints. Regardless of their position on the ladder at the midway point of the 2026 season, these two great rivals will get down and dirty in another physical battle in the Sutherland Shire. Former Shark Daniel Atkinson could well prove a thorn in the side of his old team while Josh Kerr is another recruit who will be looking to have a big impact here against the powerful Sharks pack. The Dragons haven't tasted victory at Sharks Stadium since 2018, two years after their coach Shane Flanagan led Cronulla to an emotion-charged premiership.
